    localhost warning messages with versatility

    • I used the brilliant akeeba backup to finally restore a site to localhost as I wanted to do smoe heavy modification work and localhost had gotten so far back I decided to do it this way but my localhost is runnning this error now and I am guessing it is some php setting that is different.

      If anyone knows then this would be great to get a working identical copy of my site localhost- many thanks :oops:

    • Are you running PHP v5.3.x on your server, if so try switching it to version 5.2.16

    • I am using 5.2.3 - I just commented out that part of the code and though bad I can live with it, I use uniserver as my phpmysql setup , but the new instal wont run on my machine due to set mysql passwords from before tried cleaning most things out and thats a different story, thanks for your post it must be a config thing.

      Actually I would try one more thing. Post on the Akeeba forum, those guys see this all the time live->localhost->live.
