  • 3rd party extention error

    • Installation error

      Hello I'm new to web development and I keep getting this message every time I try to install a third party extention. It works well with other Rocket Theme templates but for some reason it will not work with Solar Sentenial. The application is JBF Connect for Facebook. I really need this application and template to work together. Please help me. I have installed a blank template on a test site to make sure that it was not conflicting with another extention however it still will not work. I have check my permissions and all of them are writable. I am also using Joomla 1.5. I'm not sure what to do next, I'm so confussed. I have been at this for 2 days now with this one problem. Please help.

      This is the entire message: JInstaller::install: File '/home/content/g/m/h/gmhoward1/html/tmp/install_4dd6d5fe11ac6/jfbconnect.install.php' does not exist.
      Component Install: Could not copy PHP install file

      I only get this error with Solar Sentinel all my other Rocket Theme templates work fine. Please help!!!

    • Make sure your permissions are right in the /tmp directories and similar.

      Have you tried installing from directory or the "normal" way?
    • Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
