so essentially it will allow for what we have been talking about but instead we won't have to use a module space?
sounds good to me and I hadn't realized how convenient the idea was / is. In fact, where can you download this extension?

Andy, thanks for chiming in. Glad to hear there's hope. If I had any clue how to write the code I'd take a stab at it, but I rely on experts like you guys for that. Thanks again for an incredibly useful plugin - it's not a stretch to say that it's revolutionized the way that I build sites. I'm finding that my workflow has been severely degraded on the new 1.7 site I'm building now, not being able to use the plugin. So keep up the good work on everything else that RT is working on, but don't let this one fall off the radar!
