Your link does not work. Probably you are talking about ie8?
There is no way to fix that because Microsoft never cared to fix this browser-bug.
Only way is to turn off the "built-font-spans-feature"
I'm using IE9. The modification you suggested worked in IE9, but once I turned the browser on in Compatibility View the entire module was removed from the Side A module to the bottom of the page
Ok I'm looking into the validation errors. But now all of a sudden the numbered list for my category list page is not showing properly. The period (.) after the numbers are not showing? Any suggestions?
Solved: This was happening due to me having the "strip the word joomla from output" setting activated in the Akeeba Admin Tools Pro component. Since the css files for the Reflex template has the word joomla in the css (joomla.css) file this had an effect on how the site was displaying.
The piece of information you just provided helped me solved all problems. I am using the Akeeba Admin Tools Pro for security and one of the settings that it has is called "Remove all instances of Joomla from the output" which strips the word "Joomla" from all of the files in the root folder. It is meant to prevent hackers from easily identifying if the site is Joomla or not.
Unfortunately for the Reflex template the css code has the word "joomla" in the code several times which ended up screwing things up on the site because it was stripped from the CSS file.
Once I remove the setting to strip the word "joomla" everything is back to normal. I still had to turn off "built-font-spans-feature" to solve the original problem with the text moving outside of the module so the module title would show up normal in IE8. I also re-validated the file and it passed. Thanks for your help today!
