Cannot edit template in 1.7 (Somaxiom)

I have Joomla 1.7.0 using the Somaxiom template (rt_somaxiom_j16). When I go to Template Manager and click to edit Somaxiom I get a page with just some text details such as 'Details' 'Powered by' etc. I have installed all of the latest Rocket Theme Extensions for Somaxiom and my version of Gantry is up to date (Version 3.2.
. Can anybody cast any light on this?

Hey Chris,
I was having a similar issue I believe and found that if I checked the check box of the template in question inside the Template Manager and then selected the top Edit button, rather than just clicking on the Template name, I actually got the Template Editor to appear. If I just click the Template name I get taken away from the entire Joomla Admin page by looking at the URL.
I believe the problem lies within RocketTheme as all the other templates that I have do not behave like this. I tried a IE and Firefox to see if it was a browser issue but it wasn't.
Hope this helps someone. It took me a couple hours of frustration before finding a workaround.
Not so sure about this RocketTheme support forum since I see your question has gone unanswered for several weeks. :shock:
