Suddenly i cant access to my administrator area
however the front end of the site comes in fine
i'm getting a 500 error:
For security reasons have removed the domain from this error and replaced with MYDOMAIN
and my database name with MYDATABASENAME
500 - An error has occurred.

- I am no expert but it sounds like an error connected to SEF links , you using sef404?

I had acesef on it....however it was working sweet
I've solved the problem
I looked at the database
and found three tables
jos_members_periods
jos_memberships_emails
jos_memberships_vw_latestactiveperiod
I have no idea what they belong to (if anyone knows please tell me)....and they were empty
I deleted them (after backing them up) and immediately everything worked again
I tried then to open my backup to see what they were....however the sql file i backed them up was corrupted...... so they were obviously corrupted tables causing the problem
Didnt install any new extension as far as i know and i have no idea what they were from
This is a massive site with a lot installed on it, so haven't tested if everythings still working---so far so good though...
ANyone know what extension creates jos_memberships.... ?

Ouch didnt know i could REPAIR tables....i dropped them
and too late now cant bring them back as my backup wont open for some strange reason
in future may i ask...how does one REPAIR a table i phpmyadmin i guess?
