Is it possible to give colors to specific module positions of a template?
For instance, if the template's header style color is purple or aqua or whatever, can I made positions header-a and header-b white?

The login doesn't work. Anyway, you might want to take a look at the different module stylings for your template.
Here is just one example:
demo.rockettheme.com/aug11/features/module-variations
You can edit these as you like
