Afternoon
Have recently signed up for membership and grabbed a couple of templates that i liked. I have upgraded to joomla 1.7 as my old 1.5 site crashed due to a php upgrade done by my server. Mildly annoying but meant i was forced to upgrade my site as the patch provided by joomla didnt work
So joomla 1.7 lands via jupgrade, grabbed new version of gantry as instructed and mootools as well, and a copy of nebulae to start with. For some reason i have installed the plugins which were bundled with the templates - rokgallery, roknews etc but i they do not appear on the module page - I can still see all the standard joomla modules but none of the new ones. When i go to the manage extensions I can see they are installed but i dont know how to make them appear so i can edit them and publish them etc Have tried with a different template - radiance, but no difference.
clearly im missing something but i havent a clue what that could be. any advice much appreciated

Yup, you have to go to the module manager and create new modules (for example rokgallery).
In 1.7 RT modules don't create an instance automatically when you install it.
You have to do that yourself.
