You would be better off to subscribe to the rss feed for my extensions site. (see the forum post in my sig)
The release will be GPL but it won't be free.
(though being gpl you can of course sidestep paying if you ask around for somone who has a copy to hand it over) -

Any news on this?
I've used contacts XTD for ages, but would like to extend it. My most urgent requirement is to get people to show up in more than one category....as well as any other nice stuff like captcha.

Fine.
I've a list like that - though it keeps getting longer rather than shorter!
Had a quick look at the code, but I think I'd need to start dealing with the categories as an array and I can't manage that quickly!
I may just enter the contact details twice - or hack the database.
