    • You would be best installing another copy of nubulae in another directory as a RocketLauncher install, it will have roktabs set up already with the suffixes etc... and you can learn from that.

Personally i find it easy to take apart something already built than to learn how to build it from scratch.

I nearly always use the rocketlauncher installs and then take away to bits i dont need, its just easier :)

    • No just download the rocketlauncher, upload it to a new directory

      e.g
      /rocketlauncher/

And then create a new Mysql DB called rocketlauncher

Then goto the /rocketlauncher directory and install using the new database and make sure you installed the sample data when asked.

      Voila! Rocketlauncher installed sorted.
You can now copy bits from one admin panel to the other :)

      OR

You can just delete everything you have done and start with the rocketlauncher and delete the bits you dont want.
I think the Joomla install can overwrite the tables in the DB so with this you dont need another database or need to delete the current one.

      Upto you dude :)

    • If your running firebug, you can always refer to the Demo of the template on rockettheme too.
I usually find myself wondering what suffix RT added to a module etc... so if you inspect the code from the demo with firebug you can usually see

      class='title3 box1'...

And it lets me know the suffix they where using for the box and title style :)

      Firebug is a must!

    • Ok so im guessing you are very much new to web development in general?

If so you will need to learn CSS/HTML/PHP and possibly MYSQL in order to be able to understand what is going on behind the scenes.

At minimum you will need CSS & HTML knowledge.

These websites have some amazing tutorials on all languages, great for beginners and for reference :)

    • How can you be working on web design but not understand the programming?

Thats like saying youve been building cars for years but you dont know how theyre put together

I'm just another member, i have websites of my own to build and i cant go building other peoples website for them, that what people pay me to do for a living 8)

Im afraid you will have to learn CSS and HTML by yourself and between RT forums and Joomla forums 90% of your questions will be answered in posts or tutorials dude :)

If i did your work for you, you wouldnt learn for yourself!
