Fusion menu with graphics in Modulus

  • Fusion menu with graphics in Modulus

    • Hi, I'm trying to set up the newest version of the Modulus template. I'm going thru the demo template, and under Features in the top menu, the Preset Color Options flyout with small graphics showing the options right in the menu.

I cant tell from the menu setup in the back how this is done.

    • Within the fusion menu options in menu manager, you can designate an image for each menu item. You would need to set this to your desired image and then styling the margin/padding and text to achieve your desired look.

    • I think I have attempted this with basic jpgs. The demo ones are clickable, are they gifs, do you know?

    • The menu item image will be surrounded by the <a> tag and therefore clickable. I have used JPG's before. The template uses PNG's.

    • Ok thanks. I think I can figure it out from here. Thanks for your help. I would rather keep this open until I try a couple things.

    • I have switched to the Mercado template. Can you look at the menus in this site, www.dispatch.com/

How do i get the background images in the background of the menu dropdowns, I love this look?

    • Go to the Menu Manager > Main Menu > item you want to add picture to > Fusion Menu Options > Menu Image. These images are stored in ../templates/mercado/images/icons. You can add your own and they will become part of the images available under Menu Image. You will then have to style them in to place.

Great I was looking for this solution but cant figure out which style sheet to use to set the image where I would like. I'm using Firebug but still cant figure it out.

      Thanks,

      Ash
