Hey guys. I was wondering how to automate the front page RokGallery images. In 1.5, I just went into the module and turned it on but I can't seem to find how to do this in Joomla 1.7. My site is
andersboyettandbrady.com
. I am wanting the main images to cycle through on their own verses the user having to click the arrows. Thanks!
That is where I looked as well but either I am looking at the wrong module (FP RokGallery) or something is wrong on my end because I don't get any options at all. That module is blank where the others do have the modules you are talking about. I am going to try and attach a screenshot of what I see.
Hmm. Don't see the screenshot option. I will have to find and reread that post about how to do it. I have uploaded the SS to my site though. Here is the link:
hmmmm from your screenshot I there must be something wrong with your Joomla installation.
If you are using the Advanved Module Manager ... try to uninstall that and see if it makes a difference ...
btw. just hit the preview button below to get the option to upload something ...
I disabled the Advanced Module Manager but that did not give me back the options for the two RokGallery modules. However, I noticed that you said to uninstall as opposed to disable so I am going to try that now.
Hmm. That did not fix the problem. When I just disabled, I noticed that all the modules still had the assignments to the right (the way Advanced Module Mgr works) but when I uninstalled it completely it seems the assignments are back to their original spot..underneath the left column.
However, like I said, it did not have any effect on me not seeing any options for the FP RokGallery and/or FP RokGallery Showcase modules. Weird that whatever it is only affects the gallery modules.
All I did was install the 1.7 Enigma template using the RocketLauncher 1.7 installer so I did not have to upgrade.
I am currently using RokGallery with a Joomla 1.5 RT template on the same server and I am not having any problems with RokGallery settings on those installs so I don;t think this can be because I do not have InnoDB installed (even though I am not at all familiar with InnoDB).
well, your server needs to have the minimum requirements for this extension.
PHP support for the SQLite PDO driver
PHP support for the MySQL PDO driver
MySQL with InnoDB support
PHP support for PDO
PHP support for GD2
PHP 5.2.8 and above
... perhaps your host can help you with this list?
