    • hi,

i'm wondering how i can remove "rt-" from all of the template design elements? i want to change "rt-" to something like "ab-" with the 'initials' of my own site. is this possible?

      e.g. change rt-footer to ab-footer

technically it is possible, but you are going to have to change it in everything.

Also, it would most likely violate the Terms, but im not sure, you can read that here: www.rockettheme.com/legal/terms.php

I know you cannot remove or edit the copyright info in the XML header.
Can standard club members remove copyright info from the CSS files?

    • As Jeremy said, you are not allowed to remove copyright from any of the source files and this is clearly stated in Terms in the Modifications paragraph:
You are authorized to make any necessary modification(s) to our products to fit your purposes. You may not however redistribute or release non-GPL portions of the templates as GPL or otherwise. You must also not change or remove the copyright information in the header of the xml descriptor file. You may however remove our copyright from the footer of the templates if needed. No use of our trademarks is granted under this Agreement. Please read the FAQ section regarding this if you have further questions. Porting non-GPL portions of our templates to other platforms and content management systems and redistributing as GPL or otherwise is also strictly prohibited. Please contact us if you have any requirements that are not covered by these terms.

    • A little confused, because in the Terms of Service it states that I cannot remove copyright info from the XML file, but it doesn't mention the CSS. Does this mean I can remove copyright from CSS?

    • You can't remove copyright from any of the files included in the template package. That is the policy of GPL if I am not mistaken
