  • Moving site to root level, what about the old pages?

    • Hi All!

      I am asking for advice......
      I've a new Joomla site in a subfolder and am at the final stage to move it to top level. There is an existing site there that has very good rankings and not only the homepage. I don't want to delete those pages and give tons of 404's which of course is a killer in the SEs. I know a 301 code is needed, but what is the best way to handle this? Ideally, I'd like to point the old page with a 301 to a related new page.

    • Use redirect component to redirect old URL to the new defined
