Kunena 2 Menu item

Hi,
In kunena version 2 (stable release on 27th June) the main menu item has to be set as menu item alias where the menu item is forum (kunena default). Otherwise the tabbed header does not show. In the front end meanwhile even when you are in the forum, the menu item in the main menu does not remain selected. I have attached a screenshot for better understanding. I am using Diametric as the template.
Though this certainly is not a major issue, but in the front end it does look a bit silly when all the menu items show deselected even when you are sitting in forum. Is there any workaround this niggle?
