SOLVED Can't view an article from the menu

The technical details out of the way:
Nebulae v1.6.5
Joomla! 2.5.6
I loaded from the rocket launcher and had it create the database, and sample data.
All I ever see is the same default template page with no content when navigating the menu.
My website, shows the main page
joomla.1024studios.com/
When I click on Desktop Software -> Cutting Board Designer it loads the alias page
joomla.1024studios.com/index.php/desktop...tting-board-designer
It's the same data as the home page even though I've assigned a different template to this article, if I access the article via the full link
joomla.1024studios.com/index.php?option=...t&view=article&id=35
It loads the article's content.
I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, or why the alias isn't loading properly.

1024 Studios: joomla.1024studios.com/index.php?option=...t&view=article&id=35
The first three links look to be using the same template.
In your menu setup you have to carefully assign the correct pages to each menu item and double check your menu links and article assignments in your mainmenu.
I'm not clear on what the differences are in the templates? Can you get the desired result using the same menu and same template by disabling modules?

The Cutting Board Designer menu item is set to single article and is assigned to the cutting board designer article.
Regardless of what template I assign to the cutting board designer menu item, I get the same results.

If you use more than one template you need to assign the templates accordingly.
To do this go to: Extensions >> Template Manager
Assign the Default template to your homepage and any other menu items you want to use that template.
Assign remaining templates to other menu items accordingly.

Right, and which template do you have assigned to the homepage?
I only saw one template with assignments.
