    SOLVED Safe to update to 2.5.7?

    • Hello,

      I'm running several sites in production in joomla 2.5.4. And Joomla continuously suggest to update to 2.5.7.

      My question is, the update is completely and absolutely safe?

      I can't joke with my customers sites.

      I have upgraded several of my clients sites to Joomla 2.5.7 with no problems.

      Definitely do a full Akeeba Backup (site files & database) before the upgrade.

      If you've modifyed some core file, remember to modify the new when updating.

    • I made the classic mistake updated joomla before making an akeeba backup

      Now my template is aligned to the left?

      Joomla 2.5.4 to 2.5.7 with the clarion template.

      Ouch !

      Any ideas would be appreciated

    • I do not believe its template specific . Likely any steps to aligning a template would help me.

    • OK fixed it.

      I uploaded a previous gantry.css from yesterday and it overwrote the updated one now it is aligned. I likely of edited it however I am certain I did not edit alignment.

      Wondering if there is a bug or change in the alignment code in the new Joomla 2.5.7 gantry.css page
