WordPress 3.4+ with Gantry/RokGallery/etc.

Hello,
My subscription expired a few weeks ago. I read somewhere that most extensions here are broken with WP 3.4+ and I am seeing the effects of that, such as attempting to upload images to RokGallery not working at all and not being able to change settings of things in Gantry easily.
I could list a bunch of the problems I'm having, but it's probably related to having an outdated version.
My question is: Am I basically out of luck since I cannot access updated version of these? Also, on top of that, even if I renew my subscription, won't something like this happen again in the future? Does this mean I'm basically forced into renewing every time something breaks? I can't afford to do that... can someone give me some advice on what to do?
