    WP to Joomla

    • I am thinking of migrating from Wordpress to Joomla, as I like the RT Joomla themes more than WP.

      My website has over 7K pages indexed on Google, so a smooth transition is needed.

      Can anyone offer some advice on possible gotchas. I am looking at using CMigrator.

      Any advice appreciated.

      The same RT themes available to Joomla are available in WP--back to about three years ago. The Joomla themes are released on the 1st of the month and the WP themes are released on the 16th.

      The up to date templates are not available. WP is about 8 months behind on release.

      e.g. latest WP is Clarion and Joomla Clarion was Feb 2012.
