    Notice from my host: RokStories exploited with malware?

    • Hi all,

      Just posting here as I am between memberships at the moment. (Should have the funds to renew in the next couple of weeks.)

      I just received an email from my webhost saying that in the past 2 days, my version of RokStories was exploited and malware was present on my domain. I personally haven't been to that domain in a few months and they have blocked all access to the domain until I can prove that there is no malware.

      I was using the Dominion Wordpress theme along with RokStories abd Roktabs. The site's been stuck on a coming soon page as I was planning a redesign and there should have been no access to it by anyone without an admin login.

      I don't know the versions I was running of Dominion or RokStories, but I know they haven't been updated in at least 4 months.

      Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    • Ok, I got access to the domain. They wanted to delete 3 files before they unlocked it to me. They said the files infected were associated with the RokStories sample.php.

      Not sure where to go now.
