  • can't install components after installing the complete Firenzie package(1.13)

    • Hi,
      I installed, actually re-installed this package, and again I can't install any components!? Modules and mambots is OK, but if i try to install a component like CB it failed -> Failed to create directory "/components/com_comprofiler/". All the file directory rights are ok, the directory components is writable. It seems to me that this problem has to do with the new package? Does anybody has a clue?

    • I'm getting this same problem with the Firenzie package(1.13). All of the file permissions are set correctly. The link at Joomlapolis does not help in this situation.

    • Here are the specific errors I get.

      ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

      Upload component - Failed
      Installation file not found:
      /var/www/vhosts/filefire.com/httpdocs/media/install_46ef7840bffaf/

      I thought maybe it was a problem with the zip file so I tried to install this component on another site of mine that uses Joomla. The install on the second site worked perfectly.

    • Is this the Firenzie RocketLauncher? Either way, sounds like a permissions error, maybe try CHMODing your directories?

    • All of the permissions are set properly. 777 for the folders that need it.

    • I compared all of the permissions and folder ownership to another Joomla installation I have on a different site on the same server and I couldn't find any differences.
