Template broken in mobile safari but not chrome

Hi I am trying to migrate a website over from one server to another. I made a backup of the website using Akeeba and moved it over. Shows normal on a desktop but when viewing in mobile the whole template is broken in iPhone safari but not as broken on chrome.
I know this might be a problem in how I migrated it over but what exactly is broken in the code that would show up on one mobile browser but not the other.
The original website also views one way in safari but another way in chrome. Such as the menu at the top will not stay long enough to choose a page when viewed in safari but works in chrome when earlier it was the opposite and the menu worked in safari but NOT in chrome.
