    • I use the ijoomla component at the moment. It is quite good and they are releasing a new version very soon but i have a few major issues with it, they use tables for layout for a start. After i have gone to the trouble of making a tableless template and stripped out as many tables as possible it is a bit annoying to have loads turn up.

I have looked at the other stuff jamboworks have done, (i.e the jamboworks libraries) and they are really special. Would be great to have a front page for joomla with some great features to use.

    • I'm afraid I really don't know. I don't really have much involvement with day to day jamboworks anymore. I'll try to find out for you though.

    • Why don't you guys write to Jamboworks?
I got two times already a very nice and informative reply from Andrew.
As this is a private email exchange, I do not feel free
to quote from it, but something should be happening this month.

    • Well, it sounds like that jambozine might be an asap solution. So it's sounding like that it might not really be a direct competitor to ijoomla at all.

    • Thank you for finding out, really appreciate it. I dont know what an "asap solution" is but i just hope it has this touted functionality from the jamboworks site
The key to JamboZine is a flexible templating system for frontend component. This enables you to tune JamboZine to suit the look of your site. Rather than locking you into a handful of parameters to change, we give you the ability to change whole pages to suit you needs or desired look.

That is all i use ijoomla for, i only use the actual ezine functionality a little bit.
