Hi!
This has little to do with RocketTheme, except that the website in question will probably use a RocketTheme template... I just really value the opinions of the devs and forum members here, so thought I would get some input and insight.
I have an idea for a fun little website. I would like to allow members to post an article, and then have others (members and guests alike) able to vote on all articles submitted in the previous week. The winning article would get some recognition or something each week, and all winning articles are moved into a single category to browse all past winners, etc.
What extensions would lend themselves to this type of community site? Allowing the easiest and yet most content rich (allowing images, videos, etc.) article creation? How could I ensure that each person only votes once (or once/day etc.), while still allowing guests to vote? How could I ensure social media (facebook, twitter, instagram, twitter, etc.) inclusion for the article publishing and/or voting?
And finally, to ensure a tie in to RocketTheme, which template(s) would be best suited to this type of a site? Obviously this is a subjective question, but I am looking for your opinions here!

The 2 most common community "extensions" are CommunityBuilder and JomSocial.
As for template ideas, it's very hard to suggest because I don't know your ideas/requirements and so on... - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
