template problems with RT themes and VM

I had this problem for a long time now so after updating to a latest version the problem still exists..
This is the website :
www.duclasport.com
the problem is that when you enter the Virtuemart , the background collapse ..this is on every RT theme I have tried.
take a look what theme look like with VM :

I have tried everything..
when I go to VM configuration-templates and set the:
Select the default template for your Shop rt_leviathan
Category Template rt_leviathan
I get the error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/content/46/4683946/html/duclasport/libraries/gantry/gantry.php on line 267
but when I change it to use joomla default then error disappears but the background still missing from the template layout.. - Last Edit: 11 years 8 months ago by dandzaman.

- I have to admit that I don't understand which background image is collapsed in your VM shop. This is what I see when I visit that URL

Bok Igor,
pricacu na engleskom zbog drugih korisnika ali hvala na pomoci unapred.
I have manage to get fix on almost everything. the problem was with the gZipper. I have disable it and now it works fine except my cart function on VM .
When I click on CART button this message shows up:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/content/46/4683946/html/duclasport/libraries/gantry/gantry.php on line 267
