Installing template from localhost

    • I use two instances of a website (local and remote) local is for development and testing new things. So when I use a Rockettheme template and basically style it the way I want. What is the best way to move it onto the remote server. Just copying the template folder I don't think would cut it since there are items in the database that would need to be moved as well but I don't want to have to dump the entire mysql.

Do you guys have a recommendation, I am always having this issue with Joomla since I like to work on my local machine to make any changes in case something goes wrong.

      thanks

    • Thanks for the info.

So there is no real way to only move what you worked on and just copy what you need versus the whole thing? or does Akeeba offer this?

I will try Akeeba I have never used it.
