This may not apply to everyone but there are a hell of a lot of problems with the 3.2 upgrade to Joomla. My first indication was getting locked out of the backend. For more the threads regarding this upgrade go to the Joomla forums. Now I have to re-install my whole site!!!!~!
LOL go to the joomla website... I can't even log in to the joomla website right now, I try and submit a password reset, nada, I try and register on the website, I receive NO email. I'm not having issues with getting into the backend, but I'm having issues with the update. Did they bother to beta test this?
They did beta test it, but not with a site that has several extensions installed I have had an extensive look at the updates/changes to the joomla core, and I would hold off updating if you have a site that has different components/extensions installed. The changes made to joomla may well break your site.

UGGGH!! This is just so freakin' stupid and damaging to the J community as a whole. FYI the 3.2 update breaks most templates I have tested. Especially Gantry 4.1.18. The template manager will save optional settings but it doesn't display in the front end. Regardless of the situation ALWAYS have a backup copy of your DB and files.
"Be Warned" is right. Thanks for this post and thank god I only upgraded one website to J3.2. It was a brand new Rockettheme site and the first thing I did after install was update Joomla and various extensions. For the rest of the day and the next I built out the site, mainly creating lots of modules for the home page. And then the problems started — database errors, Gantry broken, etc. My question is what now?
I think it would be faster to just do a new install of J3.1 in a fresh database and move the modules over manually. That is probably smarter than just waiting for a patch.
Note: you must go to System > Clear Cache > Delete (the Gantry cache) for the fix to show up. This solves the broken Gantry problem. The final fix will be a Gantry update that works with J3.2.
Hi,
No success with any of the fixes and solutions that were suggested above....
I am getting several errors on my logs that I cannot solve.
Upgrading went easily a few weeks ago and everything worked fine.
The last days however I am getting error messages and the site goes offline for hours...
I am using Joomla 3.2
RT Lumiere template
latest Gantry 4.1.19
