SOLVED RT Updates question

I ran into something yesterday and wanted a solid answer on this. I installed Stratos on a development site yesterday and got a message in the control panel that I wasnt logged in to Rocket Themes so I couldnt update some of my modules/plugins etc.. I clicked the notice and it popped up a RT login box. In my development site control panel.
Am I taking it that unless you have an active RT login and account you cant update RT things? And I have to say that logging in to another site from my control panel to update my website pretty much ticks me off. How do I turn that off?
Lets say I want to update manually and never see the login failure in my website, especially after I hand it off to a client. - Behind every great website is more coffee and cigs than you can ever imagine.

just uninstall rokupdater if you want to do everything manually - rokupdater allows you to login to your rt account to you can download the "member only" updates that might be available - you don't need to login in rokupdater for the "free" extensions and templates.
