SOLVED Template Recommendation for school / club please?

Hi
Only my second site, & totally bewildered by choice of templates!
I want to build a responsive Joomla 3 site for a Scout group ( so a school or club type site)
Will need a good calendar & upcoming events lists and Acymailing integration as well as all the usual galleries and other pages.
Can anyone recommend which templates would be most suitable?

It really depends what style you want - you can add calendars and events plugins to any of the templates - also you can use acymailing on any of them too. Most of our template will also work on J2.5 and J3.x too so there's are not really constraints there either.
One or our members (sforder) is currently developing a school site using our old Halcyon template (revised version that is now responsive too) - I'm sure he won't mind me mentioning his site as he has posted the url in the forums many times... http://www.tiverton.devon.sch.uk/joomla3 .
Obviously the newer templates are more modern in their design but any of the templates styling can be changed using CSS.
Really the choice is yours.

OK - I see the school site you mention looks very different from the theme demo anyway.
I will just have to pick one & get on with it!!
Narrowed it down to Chapelco or Hexeris.
Sure I will be back on the forum with questions soon!!
