Add styling to my website question

Posted 11 years 5 months ago
    • I found this site: www.w3schools.com/

And wondering where to start. I would like to understand how to code, basic at first, so that I can improve the look of my site. I am a newbie for sure. And would appreciate any advice offered.

What courses are best to start with?

    • Hi there,

It sounds like your best option will be to get an understanding of the basic HTML tags as these get used in articles and modules. Try to get some understanding between structural elements like divs, headings, paragraphs, lists etc.

Then look at CSS as this will show you how to style the elements from HTML. I think that will give you a good start and from then onwards it will be experience and learning on a day by day basis. As soon as you are comfortable with what has to be done you will find they change it all again. :P
