Problem with rock sprocket headline with fracture template

  • Problem with rock sprocket headline with fracture template

Posted 11 years 4 months ago
    • I want the head line to look like the one on the template which I have attached a screen shot below. Im sure there is some setting that is turned off but in my editor in article manager I am setting the font to Headline 1 or 2 and writing in the middle but the wording stays to the left of the page and does not change size.

bcessence.com/ (the "simplicity" headline on home page)

      Thank you

    • thank you but I want it to look like the picture on the attachment (which is from the fracture template) the sentence starting with "simplicity is the form" should be in a bold font and in the middle of the page just like on the fracture template. no matter what changes I make to the formatting of the body of the article it looks the same. I am using JCE editor if that helps.

    • Hi there,

In the html view of that text please add promo1 to the class...
<span class="sprocket-headlines-text promo1">Simplicity is the form by which it's true nature is showcased. This disciplines us to execute only essentially creative solutions.</span>
If this resolves your problem then please edit your first post in this thread by adding SOLVED at the start of the title and then select the green tick icon. This lets the moderators know that it can be moved to the solved section.

      Thanks for your cooperation :)

    • It looks like I had the module type set to "headline" and therefore what I wanted it to look like was not part of the "headline" category.

Again I want it to look like the module on the fracture demo template that says "Gantry" (title) "is a comprehensive set of building blocks to enable rapid development"

I subsequently have changed the module type to Tabs and I looks similar to the one on the fracture template BUT it has that black box with a line below the text (I'm sure this is for the tab)

So I am not sure if I have selected the right module type or if there is a way to get rid of that black box tab and line below the wording "Simplicity is when true nature is showcased. Our focus at Bespoke Creative Essence is executing essentially creative solutions."

      My website is www.bcessence.com

      Thank you

    • Hi there,

OK - The demo uses a custom html module and you are using RokSprocket. You are correct in that the blackbox is indeed the tab.

If you are not having multiple items then why use RokSprocket? That is a sledgehammer to crack a walnut approach. Simply use custom html modules.

      Hope this helps 8)
