Menu navigation - best of both worlds

  • Menu navigation - best of both worlds

    • There has been a small amount of debate on whether the Split Menu navigation favoured in the latest Versatility template or the Dropdown on Hover as seen in Fire and Internet Gazette is better. I've voiced my opinion in favour of the latter, but here's probably a solution that offers the best of both worlds.

This is a site for a client whose account I used to work on at my last agency, and I think the menu nav is ideal, especially for larger sites with a number of sections and sub-sections:

Might be an idea worth implementing for future templates.

    • Very nice.

However, what I'd really like to see is the Versatility template with its menu system replaced with a three level Tab menu version of Fire - May 06 template menu system.

I don't see the point in splitting the main menu over the "top" and "side" positions.
