1. A template every 2 months.
2. A simplified black and white version of each template in addition to the other styles.
3. A discount good through the end of this month for previous Magneto Club members upgrading a normal year membership to the developer club for a year.
Considering the bumpy ride last year, I hope you consider offering us some encouragement to return by upgrading the yearly memberships if we re-subscribe. Incentive for us to pay the normal price for a full year and stick around to see the good things you are planning -- instead of coming back for the minimum price just to grab the needed 1.81 updates and leaving.
I think many of the templates released for Joomla are not appropriate for Magento stores. However, if there were appropriate dark and light versions of each it would make using them easier for me. For instance Chapelco has no dark versions on the Joomla demo.
I know you have been busy getting the templates and extensions working with 1.81 and I hope you have the capacity to release at least 6 templates this year.
We're just about to drop 2 new Magento templates, which would've been the 2 to make up 6 for last year if Magento hadn't released 2 updates towards the end of the year that cut into our development time. Chapelco will be out shortly, followed closely by a free Afterburner theme, which will be a simple and fast barebones theme with a color chooser extension for quick customization. Thanks, Sam. Both those Magneto updates put everybody in crunch mode. Looking forward to the Afterburner for Magento release - that should generate some good buzz for the Club.
I would like to learn more about the plans you have for the current Magento extensions and new ones. And I did not want to add too much more to that other thread since it was specifically for Joomla-Hadron.
I've got some ideas for the new extensions, but I need some time to do some experimenting, so hopefully once these 2 themes are out I can have a week or 2 to try some things out. I'd love to do something incorporating widgets, for adding additional content of specific types, kind of like RokSprocket, but we'll have to see how that pans out, so fingers crossed!
