I am having Multilingual problems again with Rocketheme, followed all tutorial and steps assigned template etc. but the page doesnt move away from homepage:

no matter what button I click or language I choose I always get this url: /?lang=en
Please would you PM URL, superuser id and pswd and i'll have a look for you.
have you renamed htacess.txt to .htaccess in joomla root?

I still think something is wrong with your htacess file.

You were getting a 404 because your croatian home menu item was pointing at a single article (luxury yacht carter croatia) which was set to English language only. For now I change the article to be language ALL.
Also your SH404SEF is messing with the URLs and rewriting thing - for now I disabled your sh404sef plugins and it all then works correctly.

That's really your call. Sh404sef is a good product but you do have to set it all up correctly. If you are only using it to just get SEF urls then joomla out of the box is good enough for that. Also, you could ask the developers of sh404sef for help with their product (RT doesn't provide support for third-party products).
