Ok, I've raised a bug ticket for the DEVS to investigate this further.

Hi, I appear to have hit a similiar (the same?) issue. Do you happen to know if this was fixed?
Local, Windows XP, IE8: Starts to render page, hits an error, auto-refreshes in compatibility mode and presents as an unsupported browser. Remote user, Windows XP, IE8: Starts to render page, hits an error, auto-refreshes in compatibility mode and presents as an unsupported browser. Browserstack, Windows XP, IE8: Starts to render page, hits an error, auto-refreshes in compatibility mode and presents as an unsupported browser. Browserstack, Windows 7, IE8: Starts to render page, hits an error, crashes browser.
You're talking about the demo correct (as this topic dicusses)? The ticket is still outstanding.
Regards, Mark.

Could you please post a URL to your site (this can be done in the secure area tab if you prefer) so we can look for you. Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.
Make sure that you have the latest versions of all rt products that you use installed (backup before updating anything).
