Magento - style changed killed all styles

  • Magento - style changed killed all styles

    • Hi there. I changed my magento style in metropolis from style 1 to style 5 and it just killed all the styling (background colors, etc). Even after I switched it back to style 1.

Don't have a current subscription to Magento themes. Would rather not pay like $99 to ask this one support question if at ll possible.

Anyone here have an idea of what might have happened?

      Thanks.

EDITED to update url. Also, problem fixed. make sure to go; "stylex", not "style x". That was the problem the whole time.

    • In the admin, top left box - what do you use for "Current Configuration Scope:" - default config or default store view?

    • I took a look at your site and I have to state upfront that I am not that knowledgable when it comes to magento, but what shows are the colorstyles css file and several other files throwing a 404 not found error, furthermore, your cookies settings look to me as being wrong. Are you using some kind of SEF?

    • After revisiting the page, the colorstyling came back, but logo was still missing.

You see Metropolis loading? I see default Magento with missing rokmage elements.

    • Okay, ha! Well, it's back to normal. When I tried changing the style in magento > config

I stated it like this "style 5" instead of the correct way; no space "style5"

Let this be a lesson kids...haha jk. Back to lovin' me some RokMag.

      The new url is www.nicecarvings.com/shop/

      Thanks all...
