Migrate to J2.5 issue

I am using the Reflex theme and it is Joomla version 1.7.3. I cannot get the newest version to show up in the upgrade panel of thr Extension Manager so I did a manual instal and it is still saying Version 1.7.3. I downloaded the 2.5/3 theme from your site but ad no luck. Why is the update not showing in the Extension Manager? What else can I try to make it update?

Hi there,
Have you checked that all required files and directories are writable?
Go to system information and check that all are green. The only permissible exception is the configuration.php which should be red.

I checked and every thing is green except the configuration.php so that is not the issue. Any other suggestions that I might be missing?

I am seeing the old version of the template and the new version as shown in screenshot.

Thanks for looking at it. It looks like the newer version template is 1.9? Is that the newest version for that template? I was hoping to migrate to Joomla 2.5 or 3?

Thanks for getting my access sorted. It sounds like you are confusing the template version update with Joomla core update.
