    • Hello,

Our hosting provider is going to switch from PHP 5.3.26 to PHP 5.4.24 and from MySQL 5.1 to MySQL 5.5 real soon.

We are wondering if there is going to be a conflict with your themes and plugins.

      We are using a bunch : Modulus 1.6.8, Panacea 1.6.6, RokNavMenu Module for Joomla! 2.0.3 and 2.0.7, RokCandy 1.3 and Gantry 3.2.17, 4.1.10, 4.1.17, 4.1.18

I would like to have the confirmation that they are compatible with PHP 5.4.24 version and MySQL 5.5 version.

      Thanks

    • If I were you I would back up those sites, then update each of them to the latest versions of our products first (before your host switches) and then check that everything is still working ok. Also ensure you are using latest joomla version (for the version that you are using J2.x or J3.x). For example, gantry 3.2.17 is way, way, out of date and I wouldn't think that would work on the latest php and mysql.

I hope you are not using any J1.5 too? as we don't support that anymore.

So, to answer you question in a round about way - if you were to be on all the latest versions of our products then you should not have an issue.

Of course, you will also have to check any third-party extensions that you use too.

      Regards, Mark.
