SOLVED Problem with 2 templates in 1 site

I have a site installed with 2 gantry templates: Fresco and Anacron. My joomla version is 3.2.1 and gantry is 4.1.20
When I added a module, in module-position drop-down menu, I chose Header-B under Rt-anacron section. However, the module also appears in Header-B postion on pages using Fresco template. So the system can't tell that in which template the position resides and I have to manually set the module assignment to prevent it from being displayed on Fresco template pages?

That's correct - the module position may (or may not) exist in many templates (even the core joomla ones) - this is a deliberate joomla design so you don't have to change every module position name when you change templates (e.g. drawer, or header or navigation). So it makes changing templates much easier this way. You should be assigning modules to specific pages if you only want them to appear on those pages.
