SOLVED Your latest templates all seemingly have problems

Posted 9 years 5 months ago
    • Hi all,

I have been on the demo site for Xenon and Isotope and certain parts of the page act really strangely.

Xenon in the feature section you have a grid of images. Hovering on them seems to make them disappear and a blue background appears or sometimes a black one. Also on hovering on the zoom in images sometimes the website really slows down it seems as though it is using a tonne or processor or something.

I would have put it down to a blip but I tried Isotope. Again in the feature part of the site you have "our clients". When you hover on them they flip over, but then disappear. Same with the expanded section.

Are these known issues or am I the only one experiencing them?

    • WE are not aware of any such issues and I just tried the demos and they work perfectly for me. So, yes, I think it's something to do with your machine/browser/browser plugins. What deive are you using and what browser and version please. Can you do a video of what you are seeing and attach here please.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Sure thing. I'm using Windows 10, Google Canary (Version 49.0.2584.0 canary (64-bit)

I tested with Firefox and things were fine.

I attach a video so you can see. Hope it helps.

I can't upload the file type, here is a Dropbox link dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/40004789/RocketTheme.mp4

    • Chrome Canary is a dev. version that may have bugs that get fixed in the stable version which is version 47.0.2526.80 (64-bit).
In the stable version (that everyone else is using) all is OK for me). We can't fix issues that appear on Canary-version.

      www.google.com/chrome/browser/canary.html

      Says it all.
My personal take on this: Google seems to have moved beta-testing upon the end user of the stable version anyway.
I only use Canary when it offers special devtools that I need.

    • I'm inclined to agree with my colleague @henning - please use official Chrome release rather than Chrome Canary - it seems to be riddled with rendering bugs.

btw the thing it does seem to like is the iframe - if you remove that (click x top right) then the page renders fine and there is no issue.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Fair enough, cheers for clarifying chaps. I'm only using canary because Chrome has stopped working lol
