Rocketlauncher in combination with Installatron

Hello,
I feel the need to be able to have automatic updates and backups on my website, so I would like to know if it is possible to use an installatron Joomla installation together with the Rocketlauncher functionality.
If not, hints for automatic update and backup notifications possibilities in the joomla backend would be helpful
Any thoughts?

No that's not possible. RT templates are commercial and therefore have to be downloaded from the RT site under a login. Templates updates do not show in the Joomla updater (only RT extensions) - again for the same reason.
New releases are always announced here http://www.rockettheme.com/product-updates . We normally have an RSS feed there too but we've had to temporarily disable it for a short period.
I would also counsel against having automatic updates on anything. Updates should always be made on a test environmnent and tested before being applied to production.

Maybe i wasn't quite clear with my question.
I was talking about installing Joomla with installatron, so I am able to update and backup the entire website with installatron
On top of that Joomla installatron installation, I would like to install the template with the Rocketlauncher that I purchased.
I was wondering if that is possible.
Or would it be possible to install the rocketlauncher including joomla, and update THAT joomla rocketlauncher installation with installatron ?

The rocketlauncher package contains joomla, extensions, gantry, template and demo data. You install this on an empty directory. If you already had Joomla installed then you would not use the rocketlauncher package but would use the bundle or standlaone packages instead - but if you did use these packages you would not get any demo data.
As to the specifics of installatron - you should ask the developers of that product - I am unfamiliar with it.
