Which Version of Joomla will you install

Hello guys. Im new to joomla and new to this site. This is my second post; since I installed joomla and search for some theme i came across this site. So far the best i seen online. Thanks for this amazing template RocketTheme. Now my questions, My friend and I want to run a web site and at first we installed joomla 1.0.13 we been messing around for about a week trying all mods and components. its a litle dificult for us to manage the page the way we want it to look. Moving the module and assigning module position got us frustrated. we are thinking that joomla 1.5 may be better for us since the module positions are layed out better.
So which version is better? or which one will you recommend?

I am new to Joomla! too, so I may not be much help.
I am using 1.0.13 (will probably "upgrade" to 1.0.14 this weekend), simply because there are more extensions for it at this time. I have not used 1.5, so I don't really know what the advantages are.

If you find 1.0.13 frustrating try the user manual. Im sure you will get the hang of it soon.

- thanks for the link matt i just downloaded the manual and saved it. Like Rusty pointed 1.0.13 has more extension and mod. and i like that but as my partner said to me 1.5 just came out and its probably be the next generation of joomla so we don't want to fall behind. we don't know how the support is going to be for 1.0.13 later on. Any way thanks for you replied i def going to go over the manual

- 1.5 is still a beta version as far as I know (correct me if I am wrong) and as such i would not use it on a live site.
