SOLVED Changing body(content) font size

This question has probably been asked a thousand times before, but how do I change the body (content) font size in RT templates?
I have created custom CSS in the RT template and tested some CSS override. The problem is that when I inspect the code, the font size has a strikethrough and I asume thats why the change I do in the custom CSS don't affect on the font size?

Latest: I did some customizing direct in the gantry-core.css to make the change take place only on the content font size;
p {font-size: 14px; margin: 0 0 15px 0;}
Did first make a gantry-core-custom.css but the canges wouldn't take place then. I know I shouldn't customize direct in the original CSS-file, so I wonder if anybody have a tip for me how to do this in a custom file? - Last Edit: 8 years 6 months ago by Rosenborg.

Never change any original template file. Do it via a custom CSS file...
article p { font-size: 14px; }
This is how to create a custom CSS compatible with Gantry 4...
Simply create a file called "<TEMPLATENAME>-custom.css" and put this file in the CSS folder of the template (where <TEMPLATENAME> is the name of the template as seen in template manager e.g. rt_iridescent would be rt_iridescent-custom.css). GANTRY4 will automatically load this CSS file. If you wish, you can also have browser specific files by appending, for example, "-ie9" making the filename "<TEMPLATENAME>-custom-ie9.css"
