I know this is most likely a no, but still doesn't hurt to ask. Could the team at least give us an idea of the Theme/Industry that the next theme is catering to?
If there is a window of a 2 week difference for the release schedule, than I feel that developer projects could get pushed back due to a longer time period. Which in return has the developer waiting to see what the theme is just incase it aligns with their project. For instance, I have a Cafe site I need to build, I'd love the next theme to be something that I could use for a Cafe design, but I'm stuck waiting here because I don't want to put in a ton of time, custom coding on a previous theme if the next one aligns with the cafe style I'm looking for.
Maybe towards the end of the development process for the theme, RocketTheme can post a teaser blog/image. It just saves time and labor for you customers, in return you get a happy customer.
You're right. Sorry the answer is No. Whilst we start our with a design we do change things through the development cycle in the light of feedback from the team and experience in testing. So really it's only finished when it's finished, we won't be giving sneak previews.
We say 4-6 weeks because we don't know how long it will take us at the outset of the development, but you can look at the last template release date and be reasonably confident that it will be 4-6 weeks after the release of the last template (for Joomla, other CMS's follow closely after).
To help you out though I can tell your that it IS NOT a cafe theme.

So does this mean our subscriptions will be devalued because the release time has ben extended and possibly missing out on templates are being released later, that doesnt seem fair....i am just saying.....
Michael T. Clark - on the contrary I think you will have better value with your subscription because we are producing higher quality templates with richer functionality that we otherwise might do if we contrain ourselves to a 4 week lifecycle for development. We want to build the best possible templates that we can and to deliver what our membership is requesting ("industry specific" being one example of this).
Producing a template takes a huge amount of resource in both development and testing - we're not going to compromise quality in order to ship out a higher volume of templates. Take a look at the template we've just released called "Versla" (online shop) - this one particularly has been a very large undertaking by the whole team and we're very pleased with the results.
Regards, Mark.
