Article on front page

Hello,
I am pretty new to joomla and website, and my English is not the best for understanding.
I need to display on my front page 2 articles, on different position (like position 20 and position 21), what would be the best module to do that, I have been looking into roksprocket, but I am not sure it is the right one.

Normally a single articles would be shown in the mainbody because they are component output. You can set you menu item type to "single article" to show one article or "blog" to show multiple articles. All component output is rendered in the "page content" particle on the layout of your outline. You can move this particle to different locations on your layout but (as I said above) it would normally be in the mainbody of your page.
