Hello Rocket Theme,
We are using your templates for our website development and we just wanted to clarify if joomla will be able hold a little bit over 40 000 of articles in a single template.
And will the website hold if say 10 to 15 people try access it all at once with the large number of contents in the site?

This really is a question for Joomla rather than anything to do with the RT template. The most important factor here will be your server configuration - But the answer is yes, provided you have a big enough server. For that scale of site I would recommend using a dedicated server so you will have full control over everything.
