Good Morning everyone,
I am looking for some help on this.
I would like to have an app, available via Google Play and the Itunes store that integrates with my website.

Ideally, users would be able to read stories that have been submitted to the website. Additionally they would be able to upload their own stories; similar to the "Submit your Story" feature already on the website.
It would be nice if the users of the app would get a vibrate + sound type alert when new content is available on the site.
I would appreciate any experience and advice that anyone has in relation to tying an app to a Joomla website.

Website and apps are two different things. There is nothing that will automatically turn your website into an app. Apps have to be developed separately.
