- Same site... I had to separate my hosting accounts and start over with a fresh installation. I am getting the same 404 error. I set up the main site but when I set up the subdomain installations I am getting the 404 error when I try and access the backend for the new subdomain installation.

  i think that I changed the name of the whole database for a moment refreshed and reverted back the name to what it was before

- Yeah, see I tried that after I made the wildcard domain... It didnt help at all. It creates the WP spot in the menu but when I go to visit subdomain.site.com/wp-admin/ it gives me the 404 error. When i visit the subdomain.site.com it gives me a "Future home of something quite cool." ...

- Where did he change the database name? What does he mean by refreshed?

- I tried the wp-config and it didnt help at all.. I went into phpmyadmin but i dont see how to change the name.. I went into operations but i get an error each time i try and change the name.
