SOLVED Can you use RocketLauncher to set up Multisite instal on WP?

On thing I do see is this site joedirosa.com is not built from the root of the server setup you have.
Possible code is expecting a certain physical path.
Still looking.
Not sure if goddaddy does anything out of the ordinary on the linux setup but rockettheme RL expects a root site setup.
How did you deploy the RL in this site? -

Originally I tried to work it on the ArtistSeries.com site which is the root.. I had the same problem.. So I did a manual instal there to be able to do the multisite but redesigning the templates is a huge pain.. I could do it on Gantry 4 but I am not as experienced with gantry 5 ..
I deployed the rocketlauncher on joedirosa.com by uploading the zip file and unpacking it.. I imagine a backup could be made and an instal on the root site could be tried again but I don't know why we would even try.. RocketLauncher works fine as long as it isn't in multisite.. I mean even on joedirosa.com it works fine but it doesn't work on the created subdomains ...
It doesn't assign a template and doesn't create the backend for the subdomains.. I was thinking it was a config problem since the wp_config files are different in artistseries.com and joedirosa.com for some reason but I dont think that is the issue.. I think what ever file is responsible for writing or duplicating wordpress is different in the rocketlauncher version..
Almost seems like they worked to disable multisite with rocketlauncher to keep people from using it..

I am not a coder but i tried to compare them and I made a couple adjustments to make them the same but all it did was create some sort of error that overloaded the server resources.. I ended up putting the original file back in place.. The WP Config sample actually has the original code so you don't need to make another back up..
I really need to try and figure this out since I think i bought this back in February and still havent been able to get it to work.. Any help would be awesome.. If they don't want you to use multisite there should be some sort of warning before you purchase so we could know..
I bought a 3 site license and right now I only need one or two to work but I am not going to start building a network on a shoddy foundation.. I did that once before and it was a complete pain.. On top of that Mambo and Joomla split and I had to wait years to figure out which platform was going to make it.. Hence now why i am using wordpress.

Hi,
First of all I'm sorry for your waiting time. After reading this topic I was 99% sure that it's not caused by Gantry5/theme/RocketLauncher. We don't do anything in RL that would cause such issues. It's basically a vanilla WP core with our plugins and themes placed inside and a script that activates them during installation. If WP core is working fine - RL should too.
I just digged a little bit in your site and I think that I was able to FIX IT.
What I did is to add a subdomain with * wildcard inside of your CPanels Subdomain sections (screenshot in the secure note).
After doing that I noticed that articles subblog started to work, but joes was still broken. So to make sure that all entries in database are proper I changed its name for a moment to something else ie. test and once I refreshed the front end - BOOM - it works. Then I just reverted back the name to what it was before.
I have also disabled your Timber plugin as it's not needed anymore as Timber is now integrated into Gantry 5 core.
Please test your site and check if it's working fine

- Jakub thank you a lot.. I just saw the email and its after 4am here so I am going to have to look at it tomorrow.. I did check and it appears to be working correctly but I am going to have to go over it for more than just a minute to make sure i know what you did since this domain was set up as a test to make sure that I could get it working before setting this up on the main domain that i am going to be using.. Give me about 8-10 hrs and once i wake up i will get into it and post another note to make sure it all works.. !! Thank you again!!
