High rate of Physical Memory Usage?

- Is there a recommendation for identifying what could be causing a hight Physical Memory Usage in cPanel? I've got automatic backups running with Akeeba, which I suspect is the culprit, but I'm looking to confirm. When I called my hosting company, they weren't of much assistance besides directing me to the Resource Usage tool in the Metrics.

If you suspect akeeba follow it up with them, check their help first though. My own server reports high physical and swap memory usage when running my backups using akeeba.
